Cheat day!



Homemade chips, not too unhealthy!

Another lovely friend, her hubby and three kids visited today. She made the best banana and sultana cake I've EVER had! Absolutely delicious!!!

A lovely friend and her daughters came to visit and she brought lots of yummy goodies with her!

Thursday 9th January


I wish I never discovered this, Sweet potato cooked in oil and some butter with far too much salt! OMG, SO delicious!!!!

Dinner. Was a Porterhouse Steak with Veggies... I completely forgot to take a picture.


When my 6 year old offers me some of his Freddo I have to say 'Yes!'. So I had a tiny bite of this. (See Kris, I told you I'd put it up!)


Lunch. Spinach, lentils, scramble with cottage cheese and soy sauce.

RESULTS!!!

I love Wednesdays, although I do get a bit disappointed when the results aren't what I'm expecting.

This week, it's all good news....

I've lost another 0.5kg
And lost a total of 3.8cm off

Considering I cheated MOST days and I'm getting closer to my goal weight I'm happy with that :-)

Wednesday 8th Feb

Aaaargh..... I got these for my sons' treat tonight. It has chocolate on the back, sooooo gooood....

Dinner. Another Green Vegetable curry.

Lunch. Capsicum, spinach, Lentils? (I can't remember!), Omelette with Cottage Cheese. I also put about a Tablespoon of Almond meal in it too.

Tuesday 7th Feb


Aaaargh. Today I started back at my studies, I used to always get a packet of chips to eat on the drive up to Melbourne. My class starts at 5:30 and goes to 8:30, then I need to drive home so it's hard to be good on these days. I might try making something crunchy and more healthy to eat on Tuesdays. I did also snack on some snow peas, carrots and an apple.

Monday 6th Feb


Dinner. Salad with a Lamb chop (that mostly didn't get eaten).

Lunch. haha, this is what I normally have for Breaky! Capsicum, Lentils, spinach scramble with Salsa.

I took our dog for a run on one of the local beaches today, stunningly beautiful!


Breakfast. A shake. I think I'm going to have shakes most mornings now. School morning are very busy. My son eats SO much food, so I'm constantly making breakfasts for him and trying to wash all the dishes... shakes take two seconds, taste ok and are super easy!

ooops. I forgot that I had some blue cheese I was saving for my cheat day! I decided to eat it anyway... with a glass of wine and some 'Jersey Shore'.

Dinner. Salad with Chicken cooked in Oyster sauce.

Lunch. Cilli con carne with cottage cheese.


Breakfast. I had a shake this morning, I really didn't feel like eggs.

Cheat Day!

The only "proper meal" I had today was breakfast, I managed to snack most of the day which meant I didn't eat far too much like last week. I still ate lots of yummy things, but didn't feel as sick as last Saturday. I also had a few cheaty things during the week so I didn't feel like going too nuts.

Lamb Chop. I only ate about 1/4 of this, it wasn't very nice, I'm not a big fan of chops.

Friday

Exercise. Body pump and Pilates classes.

I'm amazed at how much people are enjoying this Blog. Thank you to everyone for all of your encouragement and comments. I've had a few requests to write down recipes but we mostly don't use "real recipes". Most of the time I look at the list of things we can eat, then look in the cupboard, then just add amounts that I think are about right. If I make something, and it's a bit bland, I will add more Spices, more Soy Sauce or more Lemon Juice. If there is any meal that someone is really keen on making, just let me know and I'll try to remember how I made it :-) Thanks again.

Dinner. My husbands cooked tonight. So delicious! Chilli con carne.


Lunch. A "piss weak burger". Lettuce, mince, egg, cottage cheese, capsicum, cucumber and Salsa. All captured as it was falling!



Breakfast. Lentils, spinach and Salsa scramble.

Results....
Results this week are no way near as good as last, maybe it's us measuring in slightly different spots, maybe it's eating SO much on Saturday, maybe it's too many beans and not enough salads?? Who knows.

I lost .2cms overall and lost .5kgs.

I'm going to try and eat some more salads...

Dinner. Carrot, cabbage, cucumber, and 5 bean mix with Olive oil and lemon juice.
Snack. Some smoked salmon.
Lunch. I went to donate plasma with my son today. My boy gets TOTALLY spoilt when he comes with me. I ate half of everything here. I almost bought my lunch with me but I thought I would be home in time. Next time I'll take my own food and save the treats for Saturdays! (that's the plan anyway!)
Breakfast. Lentils, Spinach and Soy Sauce scramble with salsa and Chia seeds.

Dinner. Chicken, cannellini Beans, Zucchine, Spinach, lots of spices and topped with Cottage cheese. Absolutely delicious!


hehehe, I like peas! Veggie and bean stir fry with thai red curry paste.


Breakfast. Mixing it a bit, well attempting to anyway. Fried eggs with Lentils and Spinach, topped off with cottage cheese.

Lunch. Bean Salad with Tuna. So fresh and crunchy!


Breakfast. Lentils, spinach and Capsicum scramble..... I've never eaten SO many eggs in my life! I'm not over them yet, and I'm hoping I don't get over them. The only problem with this diet is there isn't really many options for breakfast.

I didn't eat this meal, it's my sons dinner, but I did have a few pieces of Tofu.
Lunch. Curry from the freezer, I can't remember what's in it.
Breakfast. I was feeling so gross this morning after 'cheat day' so I had double the spinach I normally have with Lentils and some soy sauce in a scramble... with Salsa.
