CHEAT DAY!!!

I felt SO ill after today. They say not to hold back on cheat day, something about insulin levels and encouraging you not to cheat during the week. Luckily I ate my chocolate yesterday, I don't think I could have stomached it after today. Blegh..
Dinne. Homemade Pizza. Chicken, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and cheese.
Chips.
Chocolate Chip cookie. My 6 year old has two of these for a treat every night, I couldn't resist.

Exercise.. 45 minute 'Body Pump' class and another day at the beach.
On my cheat day? Seriously?? Yoghurt and apple.
Blue cheese on apple.
muesli bar.
Vegemite and cheese toast.
Breakfast. Scrambled eggs with a piece of toast.

I've decided I'm going to include the exercise I did for the day too.
Exercise...Today I spent at least a couple of hours helping my son catch waves. I have no idea what sort of energy this would burn, but I was very tired at the end of the day!
hmmmm, whoops! I actually bought this for the cheat day tomorrow, but if I have chocolate in the cupboard then I eat it. I think I knew that I would eat it, but oh-well. I didn't eat the whole block.... ok I did... I must remember next week that "cheat day" foods need to be bought on the day.
Dinner. This is my "piss weak burger". Cucumber, red capsicum, cottage cheese, beetroot, chicken, egg and more cucmber. So good, and guilt free!
Lunch. This wasn't actually that good, it's the first meal that I've thought "meh". It was a whole lot a veggies, red kidney beans, cannellini beans and Massaman curry paste. Next time I'll need to add coconut milk.
Breakfast. Onion, lentils and spinach scramble with salsa.

I really felt like having something sweet tonight so I had some milo mixed with desiccated coconut. Super yummy, and really not that bad... if I can stop at 1 tablespoon of each! I think I need to add chocolate to the list of things I want to eat on my cheat day!
Dinner. It was Australia day today. Steak and veggies with a bit of soy sauce... this meal now feels like I'm cheating! It's funny how quickly your diet can change!
Lunch. Another lentil and veggie stir fry with red curry paste. SO yummy! And so filling!
At least someone is still enjoying the yolks!
Coffee with Cream! I'm not meant to be having dairy, but they say cream is OK in coffee in you HAVE to... it's pretty good. Thanks to my 6 year old helper for this photo.
Breakfast. Zuchinni and spinach omelette with Avocado.

RESULTS!

After 1 week of being on the 'Slow Carb Diet', including 1 cheat day, I've lost....
2kg
and 9.2 cm off in total from
Arms
Thighs
Waist
Hips
Chest

So happy!
I'm hoping we're not just really bad at measuring, although all my clothes are fitting better. So even if we don't get the same results next week, it must still be working. Knowing that I have a cheat day coming up is helping too!
